Seven-Chip Color Mixing

Quick help!
Many lighting desks have CMY or RGB(W) color mixing on board. Depending on your desk, these colors can be found under its own name, a virtual color wheel or a custom channel. Please be aware, in most desks, these colors are not included in the Hue/Saturation channels!

LED vs Discharge moving heads, it’s an old topic, especially when Color Mixing is involved. LED hasn’t got the entire color spectrum is a known argument for the Discharge-lovers. Now, LED has got an argument in its advantage: Platinum Seven!
The Platinum Seven has got a Seven-Chip LED, equipped with Red, Green, Blue, White (nothing special so far) and; Amber, Cyan and UV. These extra colors give you more depth in the Red-tones with the additional Amber and gives you way more room in the Blue area with the Cyan and UV.
