The Smarty Max fixture has got a Dual independent optical system for perfect Spot and Beam projections.

In Beam mode, the hotspot is visible in its beam and projection to get the most possible output from your Smarty Max. When changing to spot mode, another optical system is placed in front of the bulb. This new optical system creates an even field projection, without any hotspot, just as you would wish in a Spot fixture.

In Gobo Wheel 1, the first slot is Open (Beam Mode) and the second slot is Open (Spot Mode). The only thing you need to do to change the Smarty Max from Beam Mode to Spot Mode, is change Gobo Wheel 1 from slot 1, to slot 2. Obviously, every lighting desk solves this in another way. Therefore, in Quick Help, you can have a look how it’s solved in your desk. Using another desk and none of the mentioned solutions match with your desk?
