The Proteus Smarty Hybrid has got a Dual independent optical system for perfect Spot and Beam projections.

In Beam mode, the hotspot is visible in its beam and projection to get the most possible output from your Proteus Smarty Hybrid. When changing to spot mode, another optical system is placed in front of the bulb. This new optical system creates an even field projection, without any hotspot, just as you would wish in a Spot fixture.

In Gobo Wheel 1, the first slot is Open (Beam Mode) and the second slot is Open (Spot Mode). The only thing you need to do to change the Proteus Smarty Hybrid from Beam Mode to Spot Mode, is change Gobo Wheel 1 from slot 1, to slot 2.
